There is growing support for Carrie Underwood as she’s coming under fire for liking a tweet by conservative commentator, Matt Walsh. Big & Rich’s John Rich has come to the defense of Underwood with a retweet of an article about the criticism Carrie’s facing.
“I say Carrie Underwood can like whatever tweet she wants to like. Who are 'they' to shout her down? Watch out, she’s a tough Okie gal:) You see what’s going on here? It’s 'freedom of speech unless you disagree with the mob,” Rich tweeted.
He included the hashtag, #CarrieTakeTheWheel Other supporters of Carrie include Craig Morgan, Luke Combs, Riley Green, and Matt Walsh himself. Carrie has yet to respond to the backlash and Walsh’s post is still liked by Underwood.
