Tanner In The Morning

Weekdays 5:00AM - 10:00AM

This is a case that is kinda fascinating.

The man who was photographed as a baby on the album cover for Nirvana’s “Nevermind” is suing the band. His name is Spencer Elden and he is looking for a payout because he says the band sexually exploited him as a baby.

The cover shows him as a baby in a swimming pool, grasping for a dollar bill that’s being dangled in front of him on a fishing line. The story is that the photo was shot at a swimming pool party and the band never told his parents they were using it as an album cover. It just showed up. Then they sent them an autographed copy and a teddy bear.

He is now 30. Spencer alleges the nude image constitutes child pornography. This could get interesting. Read more about the story from the BBC
