It's a terrible feeling.  You go to the vet and they give you the sobering news; your pet needs an expensive surgery.  Most of us would do anything to be able to preserve our pet's health but when the cost of the surgery gets into the thousands things can look bleak.

According to The Brock Voice newspaper a good samaritan from Beaverton, Ontario, Canada recently saved  the life of a dog.  The dogs name is Storm and Storm's people parents brought her to the vet for emergency surgery  but the surgery was even more expensive than they thought.  A Good Samaritan  overheard the owners talking and they paid off Storm's medical bills.

Storm's owner says "My family and I, especially my son Mikey, would like to give the anonymous  person and the vet team a really special thanks.  There are no words to express how thankful we are".  I would say that is more than thanks enough for the person that does not wish to be identified.
