Huntersville’s favorite son, Luke Combs, fulfilled a lifelong dream yesterday. He stepped on the football field with a few of his heroes. Luke was only three when Charlotte was awarded the NFL franchise and he considers himself a lifelong fan.
Turns out the feeling was mutual. Many of the players took the time to throw the ball around with one of country music’s biggest stars. Luke did play a little ball in the upper grades, playing at AC Reynolds high school. Looks like he and Christian are Bff’s now.
