Tell me if you've heard this one before?  The Covid-19 global pandemic has caused cancellation of a great American community festival.  Gosh, I'd hoped we were past this.  Just last week we got word that the Cabarrus County Fair was being cancelled again this year, and now, this.  A little north of us in Maine, the "Whoopie Pie" Festival is out.

Organizers had hoped to be able to bring back Maine's tribute to it's official state treat after last year's cancellation, but due to the rising number of cases in Piscataquis County, where the event is held, the festival is once again not happening.  The Whoopie Pie Festival had been scheduled to be held on October 2. And I don't know if it's the combination of the music with the images in the video above, but man does watching this make me sad.
