Who doesn’t want to have a great life. According to a new study published in Interprep, here are the top 5 ways you can improve your life and make it really really great.
I am going to go ahead and start with number 1. And it is my greatest challenge in life.
1)Get enough sleep. From that study to God’s ears. I am such an insomniac. It is a battle every night. Maybe you can relate to this but if you can manage to get around 8 hours of sleep a night here’s what happens. You are smarter, nicer and a better problem solver. According to Web MD you can even lose weight and live longer. It is a dream I hope to achieve one fine day.
2) Say No without guilt! If you can’t get excited about something, don’t do it. Nothing sucks the life out of a project more than being forced into it. You are not doing anyone any favors by agreeing to do something you loathe.
3)Say Yes with Enthusiasm. If you are going to be on a committee, tell them you are happy to do it. Enthusiasm is contagious and it increases the likelihood that thing will turn out great
4)Elevate the room. Your mood and behavior can change the whole work environment. Even if you don’t feel like it, be up and it brings everyone up with you.
5) Be grateful! Gratitude is like a gateway drug it leads you to other things, most notably happiness. If you want to be happy make a list if all the good things in your life and put it by your bedside table. Read it before you go to bed at night and read it in the morning.
