The Panthers didn't ask fans to chant 'Keep Pounding' at the game on Sunday and we want to know why.  I personally was not there but many fans were not happy about the change and want it back.

The Keep Pounding slogan was inspired by former Panthers linebacker and later assistant coach Sam Mills who, while battling cancer that later claimed his life, encouraged the team to keep pounding.  And it became a mantra for Panthers fans and beyond.  It's a tradition to pound the drum when going into the stadium in homage to Sam, to encourage the team, in honor or memory of someone you love or simply to get pumped up for the game.

So , what happened to the chant?  A spokesman reportedly told the Charlotte Observer  that they are simply experimenting with different experiences.  The chant will be back for this Sunday's game with the New Orleans Saints.  To learn more about this story just go right here
