Hope you are hungry and ready to go because the NC State Fair is announcing their new variety
of foods for the first opening in two years due to the pandemic. The fair returns in the capital of Raleigh Thursday, October 14th and will end on the 24th. This year will look a little different to prevent the spread of the virus. According to News Observer, some vendors have decided to skip this year for the health and safety of their employees which is completely understandable. Vaccinations are strongly encouraged but are not a requirement. The fair will not require proof of negative COVID test for entry. Masks are also encouraged except at areas of eating or drinking and for distancing, the fairgrounds are vast with plenty of places to space out.

This year’s fair will have two new rides featuring the “Itsy Bitsy Spider Wheel” and the “Skyhawk”. Several new safety polices and countless new foods to try! Below is a new menu selection of foods that will have your mouth watering! “This place is very big with tons of tables of great selections. People were friendly and joyful” said Toyna Lane, visitor of the last opening of the fair.
