NASCAR Driver Arrested In Rowan County
He is suspended indefinitely.
According to NBC Sports, NASCAR has indefinitely suspended driver Carson Ware after his arrest yesterday in Rowan County.
He was arrested on misdemeanor charges of assault on a female, simple assault, and injury to personal property. Carson Ware was to have driven in Saturday’s Xfinity Series race for SS Green Light Racing. He is the son of car owner Rick Ware.
No other details are available. Bond was set at $1,000 for 21-year-old Carson, and a court date is Nov. 19. Rick Ware posted this statement to Twitter:
