Dr. Phil, CBS Sued
I always wondered what went on behind the scenes.
According to NBC News, Dr. Phil and CBS are being sued over an alleged sexual assault of a teen at a ranch that they recommended. In her complaint, 19-year-old Hannah Archuleta alleges that she was sent to the Turn-About Ranch in Utah for treatment when she was 17 after an appearance on Dr. Phil’s talk show.
The complaint accuses Dr. Phil of “pressuring” Hannah’s dad to send his daughter to the facility before taping began, but he failed to mention the numerous complaints from other patients about the facility. Hannah claims she was sexually assaulted at the facility and is seeking unspecified damages in the case.
