I gotta think that if there’s one place that even the Coronavirus would have trouble getting to, it has to be the Sheldon Chalet.  It sits atop Denali’s Ruth Glacier in Alaska at an elevation of 6,000 feet, and also, it sneaky looks like a villain’s lair from a James Bond movie.

To get there you’ve got to take a small plane AND THEN a helicopter.  Look, it’s breathtaking for sure.  And now for the reality check.  Anything that’s “breathtaking” comes with an equally breathtaking price tag.  Sheldon Chalet?  A three night’s stay will only run you…$35,000 (which is quite an increase over this video from 2017…it was expensive then at $2300 a night!)  All the sudden that B&B in Weaverville doesn’t look all that expensive, right?
