Gallery: Why My Friend Really Loves A Sasquatch and More Shenanigans

Over twenty years and two husbands ago, I met an amazing group of women.  We actually met at the YMCA in Gastonia in a step aerobics class, remember those?  Well, the years have passed and we aren't taking step aerobics together anymore but from that random meet up we have become truly life long friends. Recently my friend Renee mentioned she would like to add someone else to her circle of friends.

We are all super busy with families and careers and meetings and other friends but we do really make an effort to get together several times a year.  Here lately we have been meeting at each others homes to make the visits last just as long as they can.  This past weekend, the girls came to see me in Clover and we had a great time around the bonfire, hiking the trails, laughing,  lots of eating, and just loving and supporting one another.

A few months ago our friend Renee hosted us at her mountain home.  Now, let me preface this by saying, Renee is fun!  Wherever she goes, fun ensues and she thought it would be extra fun at her mountain house to have a Sasquatch to play jokes on her guests.  When we heard this is something she wanted we were in hot pursuit to find it for her.  We presented it to her at my house and let's just say it was love at first sight.
