Weekdays Morning Show Co Host/Middays

For the first time in nearly three years, Chris and Sharon Wooten will be able to celebrate the holidays together in their own Cramerton home.  The whole community is excited to welcome Trooper Wooten home and it will be quite the welcome home.

Trooper Wooten has been rehabilitating in Atlanta since July 2019 following a traffic stop incident that left him paralyzed.  He was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident  during that traffic stop and has been valiantly recovering in Atlanta ever since.

On the entire route home, law enforcement plans to honor him with banners and law enforcement escorts.  He is expected to be coming down Market street to his Gaston County hometown around 3:30 this afternoon.  To learn more about this brave man just check out the story from Channel 9.

Not a day goes by that I don’t thank God that my husband was able to retire from the North Carolina Highway Patrol, an elite group of law enforcement that takes pride in the work they do and the service to the people of this state.  We are thinking of Trooper Wooten and his sweet family and wishing them a very happy and warm Thanksgiving finally at home.
