I hate that we’re having to wait for Jason Aldean’s new, double album, “Macon, Georgia.”  He just keeps releasing a song here and a song there.  All of them are great.  So, it just makes me want to sit and listen to the whole thing from start to finish.  Anyway, the latest release is “Whiskey Me Away.”

“Whiskey Me Away” was penned by Morgan Wallen, Rodney Clawson, Jeff Hyde, and Drive Williams.  The song is about a potential romance after the protagonist makes a happenstance turn into a “long-lost highway town.”  “Whiskey Me Away” is the first song from his upcoming release of “Georgia,” the second half of the double album (the first is of course, “Macon”).  The entire double album project is scheduled for release in April of next year.  APRIL?!  We’ve got to wait until APRIL?!
