Gallery: We Spent Our Anniversary Over 200 Years Back in Time
What you see here is the oldest habitable log cabin in the state of North Carolina and we spent part of our anniversary weekend here. It is truly amazing. It was built back in the early 1800’s by Joseph Mast. Mast bought one thousand acres near Boone back in the late 1700’s with his rifle, his dog and a pair of leggings. His thousand acres became what we know now as Valle Crucis very near Boone, NC.
