Survey Finds Nearly 70% Lie About Enjoying A Holiday Meal
The holidays can be stressful. Gifts, parties, and of course that holiday meal. While some families split it up, it can be a daunting task to plan that Christmas dinner. And pleasing everyone in a large family? Next to impossible. But luckily most of your guests are understanding and want to make you feel appreciated. Cinch Home Services conducted a survey about those holiday meals and this is what they found.
Key takeaways:
- Nearly 7 out of 10 people have lied about enjoying a holiday meal
- 1 out of 3 Gen Zers and millennials will include vegetarian options into their holiday meals this year
- On average, hosts planned to spend $218 per holiday meal
- 55% of people consider gravy a side dish, not a sauce
