Eric Church Releases Video “Sequel”-Four Years In The Making
Eric Church debuted a new video Saturday night at his show in Nashville for “Some of It.” What makes this cool is it’s a sequel to the video for “Desperate Man”-released nearly 4 years ago.
I love the premise of that video with Eric appearing to illegally steal his master recordings and press his own records for distribution to his fans-robbing “The Man” (ie record company) of profits. At the end of the video, Church seems resigned to his fate of being caught. Now, with “Some of It,” he’s serving time and reflecting on the man who did the deed in the first video. Too cool.
