A pilot made an emergency landing (crash landing) on a railroad track. LAPD and some brave civilians heroically pulled the aviator from the wreckage in the nick of time before a train came through and decimated what remained of the aircraft. The pilot was treated for cuts and bruises (how lucky is he?!) and no one on the train was injured.
