UCLA Murder Suspect Has A Criminal History In The Carolinas
He has a long list of arrests on both coasts.
According to a report on WSOC-TV, the suspect in the brutal murder of 24-year-old UCLA graduate student Brianna Kupfer has a criminal history in the Carolinas.
Brianna Kupfer was working at a design studio in Los Angeles on Jan. 13 when a man stabbed her to death.
Police arrested Shawn Laval Smith Wednesday outside of a restaurant in Pasadena. He has a long rap sheet in the Carolinas. He’s been arrested in South Carolina for firing in an occupied vehicle. Also for resisting or assaulting a police officer. Shawn Leval Smith was also arrested in Charlotte in 2016 for a bunch of bike thefts. Smith is now in LAPD custody and is set to face a judge today on murder charges in Kupfer’s killing.
