Weekdays Morning Show Co Host/Middays

Whenever we go to Nashville, it is always fun to take a little drive downtown to Broadway.  There is literally live music 24/7.  And just like the song says “everybody sings, everybody plays” and just about everyone sounds good enough to have their own record deal.  More and more country artists are opening up their own bar and restaurant venues, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, and the list just keep growing.  The pride and joy of Granite Falls, North Carolina is getting into the mix in a huge way. That’s right Eric Church is getting his own Honky Tonk.

Eric Church announced he will be opening a massive six-story honky tonk in a property once owned by John Rich.  If you have been to tune town in the past you may recognize a place called “Cotton Eyed Joes’ was once there.  Eric now co-owns the place with some investors. He reportedly says it will feature some delicious North Carolina style whole hog BBQ and of course plenty of space for live music.

Eric plans to call the place “Chiefs” and says it has been a lifelong dream.  To learn more get all the details from The Boot
