Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Receive Clear Bookbags For Students
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students will soon be getting clear bookbags to use. The district spent around $500,000 purchasing the clear bookbags in hopes to help calm down some of the instances of guns being found on school grounds.
District leaders have confirmed that the bookbags have arrived at the CMS warehouse. Details on getting them distributed to schools and in the hands of students are still being finalized. But Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools high school students will be expected to use the clear bookbags once distributed.
