The South Carolina senate has approved a medical marijuana bill and it is one step closer to becoming law. This has been a seven year crusade for Republican senator Tom Davis according to Channel 9 in Charlotte.
The voice was not unanimous but good enough at 28-15. The legislation still has some hurdles to pass to become law. It will go to the house next for debate and vote. 37 States have approved the use of medical marijuana
