Carolina Panthers’ Great Sam Mills Will Be Inducted Into The Pro Football Hall Of Fame
Don’t know why it took this long.
According to Panthers.com, the late Sam Mills will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
This is such great news! Sam Mills was a Panthers linebacker and assistant coach. He was also the first player inducted into the team’s Hall of Honor. He’s the only player whose number is formally retired by the team.
This was Sam Mills’s third and final year of eligibility as a modern candidate.
The rest of the class of 2022 includes Jaguars’ offensive tackle Tony Boselli, Patriots defensive end Richard Seymour, Packers safety LeRoy Butler, and 49ers defensive tackle Bryant Young. Also elected were former Eagles, Rams, and Chiefs coach Dick Vermeil, officiating pioneer Art McNally, and former Raiders receiver Cliff Branch from the senior committee.
