Girls Youth Group Discovers Convicted Felon’s Hideaway In Indiana Cave
According to WGNTV, members of a girl youth group made quite a discovery while exploring an Indiana cave recently. They found an abandoned campsite in a remote cave that included a tent, clothes, ready-to-eat food, candles, and some trash.
Turns out, it had been used by a convicted felon who police described as having a “lengthy criminal history.” The man was not in the cave/campsite when it was found (he is currently in jail on unrelated charges). Police would not give out the specific location of the cave but confirmed it was being “dismantled” immediately.
Very glad they didn’t stumble upon this site with him still there.
