First Look At Michael Keaton’s New Batman Costume

My devotion to Batman is nothing new and has been documented numerous times in blog form on this site.  As a little boy, I lived for the summer when a local TV station would air the old Adam West Batman show in the early mornings.  Then, the summer after my freshman year in college I was given this gift.

The moment when Michael Keaton utters “I’m Batman” was greeted with an eruption of cheers in the movie theater.  Keaton was the first big screen Dark Knight and played the character twice.  However, thirty years later he’s returning to the character in both “The Flash” movie coming in November and in a Batgirl film on HBO Max that’s filming now in Scotland.  That’s what caught my attention today as The Caped Crusader’s ‘fit appears to be updated and far more comfortable and functional for action.

Charlie Nance is the Afternoon Drive co-host (along with his wife) of "The Charlie and Debbie Show" at WSOC, Country 1037 in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a content creator for Country 1037, Charlie writes about dream lottery windfalls, sports, restaurants and bars, and travel experiences in North and South Carolina.
