Create Your Own Peeps Coming This Easter
This may be a hot take but I love Peeps. I know they are basically pure sugar and I rarely eat more than one at a time, but I genuinely enjoy them. And lately, it’s not just the pink or yellow generic options. Nope, there is an abundance of flavors you can choose from. I love the birthday cake-flavored options. Some are a little out there such as Hot Tamale and Sour Watermelon, but all are interesting! Now the Pennsylvania-based candy company ‘Just Born Quality Confections’ has launched a brand-new way to get your favorite sugar-coated marshmallows. It’s basically a create your own peeps and I’m a fan.
“MyPeeps” will allow customers to create a custom peep to reflect their own favorite colors and flavors. First, you can select the color- pink, yellow, or blue. The next step is choosing what to dip them in. Options include dark, milk, or white chocolate. But that’s not all. Next comes the toppings. Is your mouth watering yet? Topping choices are chocolate chips, confetti sprinkles, crushed pretzels, crushed cookies, nonpareil sprinkles, or toasted coconut. After each order is complete, the company will box them up and ship them right to your doorstep. The brand manager for the company said, “With so many tasty and colorful combinations to choose from, Peeps fanatics can gift themselves — or a fellow Peeps lover — with the ultimate Peeps treat this Spring.”
The MyPeeps will be available while supplies last, and will cost you $29.95 (plus shipping) for two six-count boxes. What combination would choose to create your own Peeps? I think I’d have to go with pink, white chocolate, and confetti sprinkles. In fact, I may just order some now.
