Indian Trail High School And UNC Quarterback Sam Howell Has Weird Interview With The Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni made headlines last year for playing rock-scissors-paper with draft prospects. Sounds like he’s added a new mini-game for this year’s combine.
Former Indian Trail and UNC quarterback Sam Howell says he was asked to shoot a basketball on a mini hoop during his pre-combine interview with the Eagles. So how did Howell do? Not well. Sam said, “I only made like two out of five, so probably not high up on their board right now”. Howell will get a second chance to prove himself on Thursday during the quarterback drills. What could playing mini basketball tell a team about a player? What about rock-paper-scissors?
