Gymnast Shows Support Of Russian Invasion On Awards Podium
According to Fox News, Russian gymnast Ivan Kuliak stunned officials and fans recently. At an awards ceremony, he appeared to support Russian forces invading Ukraine. He had finished in third place in the parallel bars at an event in Qatar.
He was joined on the podium by Ukrainian Illia Kovtun and Kazakh Milad Karimi. Kuliak was seen sporting a “Z” on his chest. This was an apparent show of support for the Russian military. The International Gymnastics Federation condemned the apparent show of support.
Not sure if Ivan decided to do this on his own or was instructed to by Russian officials?
