Is it ever not fishing season?  If you love the sport then you are out there all four seasons but understandably some people like to cast their line when the weather gets nice.  And it is starting to be nice weather on a regular basis.  Let's go!

So you have your rod, your bait and your enthusiasm , where do you go to fish and do you need a license?  I really like Lake Wylie for just about any kind of fresh water fish.  No greater feeling than when the tip of that rod bends over and you know you have something big and fun and maybe even tasty on the line.

Lake Norman is another favorite.  I have had some amazing luck catching bass on that lake as well as catfish.  Lake Wateree is great for striper, cats and regular ol large mouth bass. And Sante Cooper!  I have caught some whoppers on that lake as well.

To learn more about where you can fish and how to get a license just go right here
