We have a lot of “favorite movies.” Most people do. However, if you were to put a gun to my head (Ha! no pun intended) I would say our all-time faves are “The Godfather” movies-especially the first two. Today, March 24, marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the initial movie detailing the exploits of the mafia-leading, Corleone family. About a year ago, I read that Paramount+ was working on a limited series detailing the making of the movie called, “The Offer.” Now, we have a trailer.
“The Offer” features Miles Teller as Albert S. Ruddy, the man tasked by Paramount to produce the cinematic version of Mario Puzo’s best-seller, The Godfather. If you’ve never heard all the trials and tribulations that surrounded the making of this movie, you’re probably not going to believe what you see. “The Offer” begins streaming with the first three of its 10 episodes on April 28th. It’s an “offer I can’t refuse.”
