Easter brunches can be as elaborate as backyard barbeques to finger sandwiches.  They can involve 2 people or more, but it would be awesome to have a table of one if you’re single. If you happen to do that share what you’re serving. As April 15th is around the corner let’s plan for some options. Yes, Easter Sunday changes dates every year. Easter occurs six and a half weeks after Ash Wednesday of 40 days of Lent. If you’re giving up certain foods during Lent, but those on the menu. Omelets are popular for brunches, but so is a cheesy quiche. Lamb happens to be a favorite meal for Easter, but some prefer ham.

Will your menu be more savory or sweet? French toast is a winner, but don’t discount pancakes, waffles, and other bread-based dishes. If you make good shrimp and grits please invite me! We have a tiny diner called the Midnight Diner in Charlotte, North Carolina that makes the best shrimp and grits, fried chicken, and breakfast cuisine that I’ve ever had. If your weather is fluctuating between the 40s and 50s make a hot pot of savory soup or spicy seafood gumbo. Let me know what’s on your menu.
