When I read this first thing this morning it brought tears to my eyes.  Everyone who has a dog in their family and who has lost that dog can relate as Carrie announces the death of her sweet pup Ace. To make matters extra bitter sweet, Ace passed away the same night Carrie won a Grammy for best Gospel album.

"He was a good boy til the end" Carrie writes in her Instagram post.  "I love you sweet Ace, see you on the other side".  There is no question dogs mean just as much to us as human family members.  And sadly they pass away far too soon.  We have other interests but to them we are their entire world.  They love us with all their hearts and all their souls.

Carrie goes on to write how much Ace has meant to her and her family over the years through "3 houses 6 tours and 2 kids, he was always there to snuggle and play".  To learn more about Ace and Carrie over the years just go right here.
