Does Size Really Matter? Is the Burger King Whopper 35% Smaller than portrayed in ads? The Washington Post says a South Florida lawyer has served up a lawsuit alleging that Burger King has misled customers over the true size of its Whopper.
The lawsuit says that Burger King began inflating the size of its burgers in commercials and advertisements around September 2017. The lawsuit specifically singles out BK's famous Whopper, saying the entire burger is 35% smaller in real-life than what is shown in ads.
Representatives for Burger King did not immediately respond to a request for comment from NBC's Today Show.
