Gunshots Incite Panic At Charleston Little League Game
What should have been an all-American Monday night turned into a truly scary experience last night. At approximately 8:44 at a local little league park, kids were playing our nation’s pastime when gunshots rang out into night from a nearby parking lot.

According to police the gunfire began after a fistfight between teenagers escalated in the area. The teens fled before police officers could arrive. Dozens of shots were fired, but miraculously (and thankfully, I add), no one was injured. I just can’t take my eyes off these kids hitting the dirt in horror-trying to avoid the bullets. The entire incident is under investigation and police say they are looking into ways to make these areas safer. As for tonight’s scheduled games? As you might imagine, they’ve been postponed.
