Except for all the bullying from my boyfriend's (now husband), ex girlfriend, my high school experience was pretty awesome growing up in Shelby, North Carolina:) So much goes into creating a truly exceptional high school and two North Carolina schools are among the best in the United States.
US News and World Report just came out with a new survey after ranking 18,000 high schools across the country. A couple of criteria were college prepardness and school performance. One of the high schools is relative close. Here are the two that made the all important best high schools list:
#35 The Early College of Guilford; Greensboro
#87 STEM College at N.C. AT and T
