Two North Carolina High Schools Are Among The Best In The Country

High School.  Those two words can evoke either smiles or shudders in people. How was your high school experience?  Except for all the bullying from my boyfriend’s (now husband), ex girlfriend, my high school experience was pretty awesome growing up in Shelby, North Carolina:)  So much goes into creating a truly exceptional high school and two North Carolina schools are among the best in the United States.

US News and World Report just came out with a new survey after ranking 18,000 high schools across the country.  A couple of criteria were college prepardness and school performance.  One of the high schools is relative close.  Here are the two that made the all important best high schools list:

#35 The Early College of Guilford; Greensboro

#87 STEM College at N.C. AT and T
