South Carolina Authorities Find Remains Of Girl Who Went Missing At Myrtle Beach

South Carolina officials confirmed what we feared long ago. Brittanee Drexel was on vacation when she went missing back in 2009.  A young 17 year old girl then hoping for fun and relaxation until she became prey to someone who only meant her harm.

We talked about this when it happened and it stayed on my mind for a long time.  As the days went by it became clear that Brittanee would never be found at least not alive.

An arrest has been made in the case.  According to Channel 9, Raymond Moody is in custody and charged with rape, murder and kidnapping.  If my memory serves, he was a person of interest years ago. To learn more about this story get all the details from Channel 9

As the mother of a daughter, I probably over protected her.  Due to an experience I had in a foreign country when I was 16; I know the world can be a hurtful, deceitful and sometimes evil place.  I will share my personal story another time.  For now, I am thinking of and praying for Brittanee's family.  They have been through hell.
