I don't know what it is, but I'm a sucker for any world record that is set pertaining to food.  Sort of like some watching a car wreck, I cannot resist checking out someone consuming hot dogs or doughnuts, etc.  However, this is a food record of an entirely different kind.  In this case, my admiration comes not from another's capacity for gluttony, but rather sheer, brute strength.  70-year-old Naseem Uddin of Pakistan broke a Guinness World Record by using his bare hand to crush 21 apples in one minute.

And Uddin SMASHED the previous record (13 apples) which was set in England.  My man attributes his grip strength from his years of iron work as a welder.  All I can think is how, if you're dating this man's daughter, you better work up to than first handshake when he answers the door.  <g>
