As a country, we have a mental health problem. No question. I’m one of those people that deals with depression and I have since I was a teen. With all that’s happening in our world, it’s hard to stay positive all the time and some folks need help.

This Saturday, June 4th you can walk to help those struggling with mental health issues. The 2022 “Mental Health For All” NAMI Walks Your Way is this weekend from 8:30 am until 2 pm at McGee Park in Concord.

You can walk in the event or make a donation. NAMI Cabarrus raise funds so they can continue to offer the much needed support group meetings and free mental health education classes in the Cabarrus community.

You can find out more and get info on the walk’s registration here. Any help would be greatly appreciated! And if you or someone you know is in need of help, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
