There is not a parent who has not had a heavy heart over the last week.  School is one of those places that we want and expect our kids to be safe.  What happened in Uvalde, Texas is horrifying.  As native Texans, We've been doubly troubled.  What that assassin did?  Texans aren't that.  That is not us.  To that point, what is "us?"  Well, Trey Ganem from Edna, Texas

Ganem's family business is SoulShine Solutions.  They make custom caskets.  The Texas Funeral Directors Association made a request of him to make some caskets for the children and teachers who passed away during the shooting.  Since then, he and his son have been tirelessly at work.  The duo completed all 19 caskets over the Memorial Day weekend (somberly ironic).  They worked almost around the clock for three straight days.  Ganem says the customized requests from the families of the victims ran the gamut from sports, to social media, to superheroes.  Terry Ganem and his son qualify as superheroes as well.
