You have probably heard of beer goggles, but how about sleep goggles?  It's a thing according to the Hookup. See, this does the opposite of what alcohol does.  According to a recent study, lack of sleep could be interfering with your love life because it makes people look, well, uglier.

Not getting enough shut eye changes the way we see others and in this case that is not a good thing.  The finding could have great implications for people who go to bars to meet people who are routinely lacking in sleep.

High tech eye tracking equipment was used to detect what a person is looking at in real time.  Participants spent one night with no sleep at all and one night with eight hours of sleep.  Their eye movements and perceptions were  measured in the morning following both nights.

Personally when I am sleep deprived NOTHING sounds like a good idea.  My brain just shuts down on three hours or less sleep and it is definitely not the time to be looking for love.
