I play a lot of competitive golf.  And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the difference between winning and losing-very often-is how well you putt.  That's one of the great ironies of the game.  The aspect that is the easiest to do, and just about everyone can do it (who hasn't played mini-golf, right?), is the one that means the most.  Yet, golfers spend countless hours and dollars working on everything else BUT putting.  Anyway, I digress.  In a TikTok video posted by @culinaryflaire, workers at a Las Vegas office are lined up along an office hallway.  And one employee has taken on a lengthy, near-impossible, pressure putt that will make him either the hero or zero in the office.   According to the on-screen text: “Our boss said if any of the [four] employees putt the ball in the cup, then we all get to leave the office early.”

There's nothing like the building of tension as the golf ball snakes its way down the hall towards a preposterously small cup at the end.  The eruption of cheers by the peanut gallery is awesome.  No matter what happens with that employee in that office for the duration of his employments, on Friday...he was the office hero.
