I guess it was in the 1980s that I first remember the term "chicken nugget" coming into existence.  I'm not sure, but it MAY have been McDonald's?  Anyway, from that point forward, there hasn't been a child born in this country that I've met who couldn't live off of them.  So, when I saw a world record was set for the largest such chicken treasure, attention had to be paid.  So, here's the deal.  The TikTok cooking duo of Nick DiGiovanni and Lynn “Lynja” Davis have set the new standard with a chicken nugget clocking in on the scales at 46 pounds and 3.34 ounces.  When it gets that heavy, is it still a "nugget?"

The ingredient mix (if you weren't taking notes):  40 pounds of ground chicken, 40 eggs, 40 slices of white bread, half a gallon of whole milk, 3/4 cup onion powder, 3/4 cup garlic powder, 1 cup salt and 1/2 cup black pepper. The nugget was then brushed with more eggs and coated in bread crumbs before baking.  Oh, and as Nick mentioned in the video above, this ain't the first rodeo for these two.  He alluded to a GINORMOUS cake pop?  Yup, he wasn't lying.
