Miranda Lambert Visits Nashville Shelter And Adopts A Cat

Miranda Lambert is at it again, visiting Nashville's Metro Animal Care and Control this week and taking home a new adult cat named Ravioli.

With her voice cracking a bit with emotion, Miranda held her newest family member and said in a video she posted to Instagram, "It's an amazing shelter. They are raising money for the Nashville pet project today and the community."

She added, "Summertime is a great time to add a new friend to your family, which I am doing today; he's coming home with me. Just a friendly reminder to visit your local shelters. This shelter is very full right now in Nashville, so if you know people out there that are looking to adopt, please stop by here. Don't forget to visit your local shelter and volunteer. Love ya'll happy Summertime."

On Lambert's Insta stories, she took pictures with several dogs and cats looking for a home.
