With good reason(s), if you're one of those that avoids social media like the plague, I get it.  That being said, I've discovered a man who makes social media in general and TikTok in particular, worthwhile.  Meet Khabane Lame (@khaby.lame).  This guys is a genius in his simplicity.  His account specializes in pointing out the absurdity with some of the ways people complicate life...and commit their complications to video.  Futher, he does it in complete silence.  Here are just a couple of examples.  Let start with working out on an exercise bike.

Now, how about receiving food thru your car window at the drive thru?

The more I see of this guy, the more I love him.  How about this demonstration of removing a banana from a plate covered in Saran Wrap (not sure why you would have this in the first place, but...)

Khaby frequently dons a Spider-man costume to illustrate ridiculousness.  In this case, how one can complicated dusting in the living room

This may be one of my faves as it involves a completely stupid advertisement for loading an SUV's rear storage

And one more as we stay on the theme of how stupid some people can purposefully look when posting videos of them complicating their lives with their automobiles

And you've got to love this guy's story.  He was a factory worker who was laid off at the start of the pandemic.  That's when he started making his videos.  He's now the most subscribed-to person on TikTok with over 143 MILLION followers.  Let me translate that for you.  He's now the biggest "influencer" on the brand which means the sponsorship money coming his way...well, let's just say he might be buying his own factory soon.
