We sometimes refer to Dave from Lady A as "the other guy".  Dave is the quiet one but is essential to the sound and success of the group formerly known as Lady Antebellum.  There's Hillary, Charles and the other powerfully talented one, Dave.  We love it when we get to talk to the group and make it a point to get some time with the sometimes overlooked third member of the band.

The group has had countless hits but we bet you don't know all that much about Dave.  Here are a few facts. 5) Dave's dad is a dentist and a pretty famous one.  Van Haywood is a professor and  He reportedly was one of the first to introduce the world to teeth whitening. No wonder Dave's teeth always look perfect.

4) Dave's whole family is musical.  He reportedly learned how to play piano from his Mom and how to play guitar from his Dad.

3)Dave is super talented!  He not only provides vocals for Lady A he plays piano, guitar and mandolin.

2)Dave and Charles Kelly have been buddies a long time.  They went to middle school together.

  1.  Not only is Dave a great musician but he has written hits for other artists as well.  He was one of the writers on Luke Bryan's smash hit, "Do I"".
