You could call this the purrrfect match.  Penny and Gus are making news about their unlikely partnership in Catawba County, North Carolina.  Penny's family reached out to an animal rescue in Catawba to check to see if there were any animals available that she could adopt.

According to Global Positive News, the shelter says that older animals are almost impossible to adopt out.  Naturally people want a pet that will have the possibility to live with them a very long time.  Gus might not be that guy.  At 19, he is 133 in "cat years".

It is a proven fact that animals make you happier but can they make you healthier.  Will Penny actually live a better life because of Gus.  If you do the research you will see that Penny will indeed get some benefit with the decision to adopt her 19 year old feline friend.  Get details here from the Animal Health Foundation.

101 year old Penny met Gus and felt an instant connection.  The two are now happily living together and proving there is someone for everyone.  To learn more get details from Fox News
