Adorable! A retired South Carolina teacher found a creature other than a bird at her bird feeder recently.  That's right, its bear time in the North Carolina mountains and Debbie Tomlinson came eyeball to eyeball with one on her own front porch. Debbie used her secret weapon to shoo the critter away.

It happened while Debbie was enjoying some time at her beautiful mountain home in Sapphire, North Carolina. According to Yahoo, Debbie says she normally puts her bird feeders up and was reminded why when she spotted a Momma bear munching on some bird seed right on her patio.

Debbie thinks the bear is a nursing mother and was just trying to get some breakfast, still nobody wants a black bear on their porch.  Debbie uses her 'teacher voice' to get the bear to move along.  To read more about it and see the video just go right here.
