Check Out Tanner’s Family Trip to Pigeon Forge and Enter for Your Chance to Enjoy

I spent this past weekend in Pigeon Forge with my family. It is such a beautiful place tucked away in the Great Smoky Mountains. It was an incredible family vacation spot with so many things to do. My son Ethan’s first words were, “This is so beautiful, I want to live here.”

We went snow tubing in the middle of July at Pigeon Forge Snow. There was plenty of snow being made in their climate-controlled building. What a rush it was sliding down those snow-covered slopes in the heat of summer. 

Our whole family took on Alien ships in Wall Defender at Beyond the Lens and we all survived! Beyond the Lens is an exhilarating experience featuring over 150 interactive exhibits.  We watched Lumberjacks and their amazing feats of skill at Paula Dean’s Lumberjack Feud. There were several fun stunts including some chainsaws, that even as much as I begged, my wife won’t let me try at home! 

My wife, Missy, won after an intense game of black light pirate theme mini golf at MagiQuest, and our whole family got stuck in a mirror maze after. The good news is my son loves to check himself out in any and all of the mirrors. 

We soared through America in SkyFly, a state-of-the-art massive screen theatre where the moving seats made you think you were actually flying. Just a tad bit of a warning, when you hit waterways, you will get wet! 

Ethan was brave enough to take on many of the indoor thrill rides at WonderWorks and we even laid on a bed of nails. And of course, Dollywood. While Ethan loved all the rides, my wife and I enjoyed the artisan shops and gorgeous scenery of the smoky mountains. Dollywood has so much to offer the entire family. 

There’s so much to do and see in Pigeon Forge. Your family should add Pigeon Forge to your vacation destination list. It’s just a short and scenic ride from the Carolinas and there is something there for the entire family.
