‘Naked And Afraid’ Cast Member Has Passed Away At 35
According to Fox News, Melanie Rauscher of Naked and Afraid was found dead in Arizona. Rauscher was apparently dog-sitting and was found in the guest room surrounded by dust cleaner.
Authorities did not specify whether Rauscher “consumed contents of the cans. Neither drug paraphernalia nor a suicide note was found. The dog Rauscher was watching was reported to be “OK.”
Rauscher starred in “Naked and Afraid” in 2013 and then went back on the survival show for the spinoff, “Naked and Afraid XL,” the following year.
Police do not suspect foul play and do not believe suicide was a factor in Rauscher’s death. Melanie was only 35 and will be missed by family and friends. Her friend and castmate Jeremy McCaa, wrote a tribute on Facebook.
