Greatest Summer Movie EVER Returns To Theaters In IMAX
We’ve all just become accustomed to the “Summer Blockbuster” movie season. However, before there was “Star Wars” or “Raiders of the Lost Ark” or “Ghostbusters” or “Batman” or any “Avengers” movie, there was the year 1975. That summer, a young (relatively unknown) director named Steven Spielberg unleashed terror on the entire world in the form of “Jaws.” To acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarrantino, it is the greatest movie ever made. It is/has been/always will be at or near the top of our favorite list. Anyway, for most of us, “Jaws” has always been viewed on television. That’s about to change in a BIG WAY.
This Labor Day Weekend, you can celebrate the last days of going in the water by being reminded of why you shouldn’t go in the water…in IMAX! Jaws will return to theaters on September 2, and as a bonus, a Read 3D version of the film will also drop (avoid this, 3D is overrated and often, sucks-just sayin’). IMAX is the ticket though. Do not walk, run in fear of missing it, to the theaters.
